Polytunnels for wheelchair users

Hi everybody,
Is there anybody with experience in putting up tunnels for wheelchair users?

I work in a Cheshire home. We're currently planning a multi-sensory and crop-producing polytunnel & gardens for residents and visitors. This is what i'm thinking of at the moment:
- tunnel size 18 x 56 ft.
- to dig out topsoil & pour a layer of concrete. Build a surrounding block-wall (2 blocks high??) on that, plus raised beds. Erect the tunnel on top/over that.

If anybody here has any experience with this, let me know - i'd love to learn from you!

Donkey for company, lawn mowing, sustainability

Hi there everyone,
thought, I'd post this message in the forum and see what opinions and experiences you have made with keeping a small number of animals, in particular donkeys.
We are thinking of getting one or two donkeys, firstly because we love animals and we have some land and time available to look after them, secondly because we spent hours last summer mowing our grass with a conventional petrol powered lawn mower and don't want to go down that road again.

Earthships are they worth building and if so how do I go about doing it?

We are planning to build a large retaining wall outside our property. We've looked into using steel and cement, drystone, lime mortor v cement etc etc. The earthship concept seems to be a good one. We can recycle what we have, reuse old tyres and stay away from using steel and cement but does it actually work?
