Hosts staying a day or 2 to learn more?

WHat do hosts here think about hosting other hosts for short stay(1-2days)

what it would do

.hosts gain experience and insights into sustainable living/growings
.ideas and see visions growing
.share learn teach

anyway many more dynamics to this.

Hosts staying a day or 2

I would be up for that, it would be interesting to see what other people are up to and how things work, never been Wwoofing or had a Wwoofer yet

hosting hosts.

i would be very interested in this. Being new to the process would like to be able to to gain some experience with hosts and learn from their experiences as well as the whole organic principle applied on a practical level.

Hosts staying a day or 2 to learn more

I think it would be great to meet up with other hosts to swap ideas and support each other.. Maybe we could meet in each others homes, so we can see what we are all doing and learn from each other. It could just be for a couple of hours,we could have something to eat and chat around the table!

I think its a great idea. We

I think its a great idea. We would like eventually to have goats and pigs and I would love to spend some time with someone who already had them to learn more before we commit. Also I would like the idea of hosting a number of people together over 2 days when large jobs need to be done, an old fashioned work party.

I think it's a brilliant idea

I think it's a brilliant idea. What would be the best way to organise it? Maybe hosts who are open to hosting other hosts could indicate their interest? Hold a learning day or weekend for a number of other hosts? Or be available to host others on an individual request basis?

I wouldn't want more than one

I wouldn't want more than one host "unit"(1 or 2 people) at a time. Large groups don't achieve what I would be looking for or offering. I like the idea of a list of hosts who would host hosts. Then we can get in touch with each other. Maybe a brief resume of our experience ie length of time hosting(we're at it 30 years),enterprises(we've lots of animal and veg experience),what we're doing now, any forward plans(we want to do much more fruit). I wouldn't be into a "social", more a 3-4 person workshop............
