Hi there As we are new to hosting we want to find out how many hours we should be asking our WWOOFers to be helping us, we would like to find out what other hosts expect from a woofer, one recent fella emailed us to say he wanted to help us from ten until one every day with weekends off, we don't want to seem like slave drivers (and aren't) but at the same time we are providing accommodation, three good meals a day, snacks and the odd beer as well as having the weekends free to themselves, any advice would be great thanks Brid and Conor

We usually ask for about 5 hours a day with weekends free. Obviously a lot of what we do depends on the weather. It's vital to be flexible. We find if we're not greedy or demanding, our WWOOFers (with the very odd exception) respond in the same way.
We try to make it a relaxed and happy place to work and it's much more enjoyable for all of us. Good luck!
