About An Charraig

We occasionally take Wwoofers in addition to four volunteers who come to us through a European funded programme called EVS. This only happens during busy periods or when we have a special project we want to get finished. We grow all types of vegetables but for the local market we specialise in salad crops and tomatoes. Our project is not a commercial project. It is operated through a non-profit organisation called Aisling Arann. Young people who stay with us come to learn how to live a sustainable lifestyle outside of cities.
