A new system of feedback has been introduced. All host pages now have links to allow WWOOFers to create feedback and for all members to view public comments.
Please read our Feedback Policy which is intended to provide a clear framework for all feedback issues.
We have consulted with as many members as we can about feedback and how it should operate on the site. It has been decided to enable it on host pages only and there will be none on WWOOFer's pages. Any issues or complaints about WWOOFers can be sent directly to us by using the site contact form.
The system provides two levels - public comments which will be accessed from a link on each host's page and private comments which will only be seen by the WWOOF Ireland team. Private comments are intended to allow issues and complaints to be brought to our attention and will be categorised under the commitments made by each host when they subscribe to WWOOF Ireland. The ways in which we will deal with these are set out in the policy.
When viewing the list of feedback for each host, it will also be possible to view all other comments left by their authors. This is intended to give a better perspective on the nature of comments and will, for example, indicate if that author habitually leaves feedback of a certain type.
Feedback comments will remain on the site for as long as their author remains subscribed. Later we may also include access to archived comments made by past members.
Feedback is intended to improve the WWOOFing experience for all members of WWOOF Ireland. We remain open to discussion and suggestions about how it operates and there is a topic in the forum for this purpose, or you can contact us with the site contact form.
