Purecamping We have very little availability left at this stage. The popular months of June and July are completely full...
Trea and Kevin have a 10 hectare farm hosting an award winning eco-campsite, which is south-facing and overlooks the Shannon Estuary with our emerging 4 hectare native woodland in the foreground.
This year's projects includes finishing off our toilet and shower facilities, including fitting a solar system and wood-fired heating. Water to this block to be provided by rainwater harvesting and our own well.
We have a lot of ground to maintain, although we try to keep things as natural as possible. We also need plenty of help in the woods. We have a small vegetable garden and an embryonic forest garden that we could do with some help with. We are also planning to create some more living willow structures this year. Also, during the camping season (Easter to September), some of the tasks can be associated with preparing bell tents, making beds, etc. Suffice to say there is lots of variety in the type of help required; some interesting, some less so... :-) |

Gortavrulla We are 2 families(5 adults, 5 children) living together as a community and sharing a simple natural lifestyle on 11 acres of beautiful secluded land in a river valley, half wooded. We're mostly self-sufficient in vegetables, goats milk and eggs. We are interested in meeting open minded people and sharing our ideals and experience in community building, alternative education, and sustainable low-cost housing (art/design/architecture background). |

Marigold House Our home and garden is on about an acre of land in the lush countryside above Lough Derg in County Clare. We have fruit and vegetable beds, fruit bushes and fruit trees, which we have grown organically since we move onto the site 12 years ago. We also have 4 ducks, who give us plenty of eggs, in season and 2 cats. Though we often have visitors of one sort or another, this is our first time as Wwoof hosts. It is primarily myself and my husband who are here, though two of our children, in their early 20's, are often here. We both work in local community organisations, a Camphill and a Steiner secondary school, and a volunteer may find there may also be some socialising there. There s great community spirit here, and several other Wwoofers in the area, who regularly meet up in the village of Mountshannon for an evening out, with plenty of music in a local pub. Our home is comfortable and between us there is plenty of good cooking of great organic meals, vegetarian and meat. Mountshannon and the lake are about a mile away. We welcome individuals or a couple. WE ARE CURRENTLY FULL TIL END AUGUST. |

Windy Hill Farm FULLY BOOKED TILL OCTOBER!!
We have a small farm with a variety of animals. Cows, horses, donkeys, hens and ducks, cats and dogs and a small potbelly pig.
Pakie, my husband, looks after the farm. I bake for Farmer's Markets, specializing in dietary goodies. Besides that I grow fruit and vegetables for our own use.
At the moment I am working on creating a small petfarm, especially for children with special needs with a focus on autism and/or related disorders.
Pakie is doing up an old stone shed , and would like to transform it into a place where you can live.
We would like to meet wwoofers who have an interest in animals, gardening (planting, sowing, weeding), and building. I also like to create a permaculture garden complete with pond).
We provide a caravan, bedlinnen and towels. A diet is no problem, although I don't have much experience with a vegan diet. Work is weather dependant, so it can happen that you have a day(s) of during the week and will be asked to help out in the weekend. However, we always try to keep weekends free, so you can go out yourself or we tour you around!
We LOVE our 'cuppa' (tea), humor and a chat. |

Caher House Mature woofers needed in April to housesit.See noticeboard.IN GENERAL, PLEASE LOOK ON THE NOTICEBOARD TO SEE IF WE REQUIRE PEOPLE. WE DON'T PLAN MORE THAN TWO MONTHS AHEAD. WE PREFER WOOFERS WHO ARE AT LEAST 20 YEARS OLD. We have a 2 acre site with panoramic views overlooking Loch Derg and Holy Island. We grow vegetables, some fruit, and have an apple orchard. We have 2 donkeys, a small dog and two cats, so animal lovers needed! Last year we re-landscaped much of the garden, & now need help developing this with wild & native flower banks and paths, particularly with weeding, and help generally outside. Penelope is an alternative therapist & Julian is a photographer, so you will be on your own much of the time, but all necessary guidance is given. We are a quiet, meditative household, but enjoy talking, laughing and eating together. We are looking for careful WWOOFers, preferably interested in plants, ecology and organic balance. We are a few miles from the nearest village, but you have bicycles available. There are good local walks by water or up the hills. We enjoy good wholesome food, & can be veggie or not. We look forwards to welcoming you into our home. |

Doolin Garden and Nursery House surrounded by half acre garden, part of which is a nursery. Here there are a selection of over 250 plants which are propagated from the garden itself. Altogether there are around 5,000 plants in pots. All plants are grown and cared for outside without the use of glass or polytunnel. Help required would be with general maintenance of the garden and plants in pots. Its not necessary to be proficient in propagation but I would be happy for the candidate to be involved in this if they would like. We would like WWOOFers to help from Wednesday to Sunday, 10-6pm. There would be flexibility around the days and hours. The accommodation is an award winning modern house where you would have your own room with private bathroom. There's Wifi available in the house and a Sky TV. The garden is situated about a 15 minute walk from the village of Doolin, on the edge of the Burren not far from the Cliffs of Moher. It's the departure point to the Aran Islands so it would be a great base from which to explore the West of Ireland. Doolin is renowned for traditional Irish music which is played nightly in the village's 3 pubs. I don't require much notice if you are interested in starting here soon! |
