Octopus's Garden We have just started this adventure ourselves a few months ago by moving to a 300 year old farmhouse in the beautiful countryside of the Burren.
Our plans are to set up a happy peaceful communal place that includes working with nature, sustainable living and circus.
I am planning to grow vegetables in one part of the garden this summer and plant fruit trees in another.
We also have a barn where we are planning to set up a trapeze and use the space for juggling and acrobalance.
We are looking for people with an intrest in a different more sustainable way of life who feel comfortable in a nature enviornment . People who like to express themselves physically and like creative, imaginative work will have lots of space and projects to get on with here.
We prefer to take wwoofers with good english since we like to share cups of tea and good chats between work and food.
In return we can offer you plenty of good food, plenty of relaxed cup of tea sessions, hopefully plenty of good conversations, experience in living more simply and sustainably as well as working with nature and it's resources. |

Monks Farm We are a potato, vegetable and free range poultry farm in the West of Ireland, located in Ballyvaughan, Co.Clare. We sell our produce at a local farmers market every Saturday. We also rare free range geese and turkeys for the Christmas market. Daily work includes harvesting and planting crops, feeding animals and cleaning out sheds. I recently broke my collarbone so would be looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
You would have your own 1 bed apartment attached to the family home. Ballyvaughan is a great location for hill walking, swimming, surfing and has a fantastic cycling club. This would suit someone with a liking for the outdoors. |
